I am very thankful for good books. If by ingesting them my heart can flutter faster after the good Book and its great God, then they’re worth the read. The following resources have benefited me in my overall growth as a follower of Christ. Some of these resources I have not read from cover to cover, due to the nature of the books or volumes being reference works of sets. In addition, what I’ve included here is in no way an exhaustive list. Neither do the books I’ve recommended come with my heartiest approval at every point. It would be too lofty a notion to expect any book, save the Bible, to be agreeable on all points. Nonetheless, by reading the following literature you will not be led into doctrinal heresy.

One more quick preface before you peruse this list. Among these recommendations I’ve included an asterisk (*) next to the resource I think the average reader will get the most benefit from. In the future, I plan on making parenthetical notes to each book, clarifying whether it’s a(n) beginner, immediate, or advanced level resource. Further qualifications will also include brief annotation. Until then, I hope this current offering will be beneficial.
